I'm adjusting to the so-called "post-grad life" in West Monroe, La., with my new husband, Grant. I work from home for the computer software giant, Oracle, as a proposal manager. After work, I like to explore my new home, north Louisiana.
Born and raised in East Baton Rouge Parish, I was so excited to begin my college career at Louisiana State University. Louisiana has and always will be my home, so it’s not a surprise that I quickly fit in the campus community, specifically within the Manship School of Mass Communication.
I got involved in my college by becoming a Manship Ambassador. For two years, I gave tours to prospective students, organized student events and made many friends along the way. I also became a leader in Zeta Tau Alpha by serving my sisters for two years on executive council as the public relations chair and ritual chair.
During my time in college, I developed a passion for the state of Louisiana, and I can't wait to contribute to Louisiana's future success through creative and strategic communication methods.
